virtual copies snapshots

Some time ago I have found in the blog I greatly respect of Ulrich Media the article DAM: virtual copies, snapshots and seen data loss Michel Mayerle. This deals with deals with the problems that virtual copies in Lightroom only exist in the database and can not be stored in the sidecar files. This can be problematic for several reasons.
For me the most tangible is that virtual copies are not made available to other programs, if not work as an editor in the LR. This is true even for the Bridge from Adobe.
Over a simple snapshot Michel Mayerle found a very smart way to circumvent this problem elegantly and I thought that you can automate this also wonderful.

workshop in Atlanta Hotel Leipzig / Wachau
Start ... Sunday 6 clock. We felt that it would be himself again time to attend a workshop.

organizer of the "light / seminars" was the studio engineering firm Hensel.
The speakers were Mick Mazzei & Calvin Hollywood invited. Topics of the workshop were among others fashion, beauty and portrait photography, lighting, lighting technology, Photoshop CS 5 and Lightroom third

Our main interest was in fashion photographer Mick Mazzei , the insights into his work and thinking
admitted photo projects. Topics included how to get into the fashion photography of jobs, teamwork, dealing with the model, lighting, camera and much more. Definitely the best part of the day.

14 clock began the second workshop with Calvin Hollywood . As we now know Calvin personally (we it had last year for a workshop to Zwickau brought ) we were excited to see what he tells us today about image editing and lighting or whether he still remembers us. Calvin Hollywood "I did know you." He has the "Dodgeman" not forgotten or rather, the team of Fotostudio76. After a joint workshop of the fun began.

was expected, the workshop very enjoyable, typical Calvin. I would say that the full contrast to Mick Mazzei, but not worse just different.

All in all a fine day with two great speakers, frills, free food and drink , but also new inspiration and knowledge.

17 clock was the whole thing over ... nice it was ... we would do it again.
