Actually, every time I stand before the question ... "What I need now to take pictures?"
often rich in a few pieces of equipment to create good photo's! On the other hand, makes you look even thought to record the photo's and notes. "Shit, I just do not have the equipment to implement the so-were intended as, or is abandoned!"
Does one have the same purchase now!
I say NO!
I follow always enthusiastic amateurs, who after half a year of their new camera, want to sell them again to get a newer device to create! WHY?? Many
not even be able an elaborate to shoot good photos! (Please feel now is not attacked, it's just my opinion)
Anyone interested in everything but the topic that I can recommend to today's post by Martin Krolop that deals with the subject equipment intesiv mania!

Inspired by this, I wanted to point out a solution or give you a tip!
I think it is absolutely impractical, if I "lying around" a crazy array of camera's, lenses and other equipment got it! I say lying around on purpose, because it is most like that! Go to your about a photo shoot with 5 lenses, 3Kamera's etc.? So I do not ...
I have 3 lenses, of which one is a kit lens which I use more often! My other 2 I always use! Depending on the nature of the shoot I take with me sometimes my 2nd camera as a backup, but need not always be! See your it as my opinion, not as a ne plus ultra solution for everyone!
The better solution, I think, but if necessary, for the rental or lending of certain equipment! It also allows me time with other equipment to To photograph such as a medium format system, which would afford me to present financially impossible! But also access to special lenses, or light shapers such as a ring flash that I would need in only rare!
"I had as yet not once, but this year I've also made me look!" :-D
With commissions the rest can be passed the rental costs for equipment, in most cases the customer . It remains untouched by the costs, at least the author Michael Gelfand writes in his book "Fashion Photography" ! His thoughts I would like to bring to and add your own experiences!
benefits of renting / borrowing:
- previous test of equipment before the actual purchase (I find it very important, as a decision may be easier if I ever need)
- special recordings would not have been possible (of course with the existing knowledge, because, you know it already, the equipment contributes only and does not make the photo!)
- most in any big city you have the possibility of lending of equipment, but also a Photo partner or friends can help out (if I'm just back staying in Munich come I also relatively easy to equipment that I sometimes need and to)
- depending on where their hires (in regional terms, or suppliers) it comes to large variations in price between the same parts (as it was in Munich and in various shops, the same equipment, but at different prices)
- there where it is usually lower, was the material have frequently awarded happen (can that you will not get the desired material, a previous call to the rescue)
- you can also depending on the provider not get everything, maybe missing your look carefully sought Equipment (lists, phone calls and requests can also help here)
- for me personally the biggest problem for me is, if I Where else rentals, as with me as I have to shoot in Munich and then in Saxony, is a mad effort to transport, chronologically, I must pay the nunmal mitzahlen as lease
Despite all this the all male, in my view, since it is still cheaper than buying new equipment in certain parts! Where to rent
I?
This is usually up to you, which I can not tell! has a view of the World Wide Web has often helped me!
I'm personally in Munich for most CALUMET ( http://www.calumetphoto.de// )! They have a relatively wide range of equipment at relatively reasonable prices! But what I think is best, a professional consulting, you gain not getting anywhere! In most cases you will get valuable tips from the vendors that also show you other options!
I'll hang times on the list, as you can see so price times what it could cost you!

So for now, enough!
I hope you could also promising even give a hint! plan
